About
Hi, I'm Donnah Lisa! I am 20 years old, from New Jersey. While singing is my utmost passion in life, I also enjoy reading and writing. I was a straight "A" student in high school, and I'm now attending college to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Music Industry, with concentration in Music Business. In college, I have received recognition for the President's Scholar & Dean's List.
I have trained in both tap and hip-hop dance. I can play drums, guitar, bass, and piano.
Music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom plays a monumental part of my passion for music. With my mother having a band, music was constantly surrounding me growing up. I sing & play bass in the band whenever she performs at parties & functions.
I began vocal lessons from my incredible vocal coach, Sal Dupree, at 9 years old. Under his tutelage, I have won multiple vocal competitions, including Freehold Idol in 2014, & Ocean City's Got Talent's Overall Winner in 2014. I also performed at the New Jersey Conference of Mayor's for the Lt. Governor at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2022.
I sincerely love the creative freedom I can express through my voice, and sharing my passion with the world is something I enjoy wholeheartedly!
I enjoy volunteering my time entertaining at the Glassboro VFW for the wonderful veterans who have served our country.
I'm extremely excited about my very first CD of original songs, produced by the talented Kit Worton, entitled "Wonder Girl!" I can't wait to share my music with the world, and thank you for letting me express my passion for music with you!! To me, life is like a song-"And The Dreams That You Dare To Dream Really Do Come True."
